In the first of this two part series, Samantha and Denise discuss ways to identify and acknowledge if you may benefit from working with your inner child. This is a heavy topic and we are not discussing this from a therapeutic standpoint but as empaths and sensitives who may be holding residual pain and energies from earlier times in our lives.
Inner child work is a way to address our needs that haven’t been met as children and heal the attachment wounds we’ve developed. Our inner child is a representation of ourselves at multiple points in our childhood, including our natural enthusiasm and curiosity we experienced as children.
