Checkin’ Our Allies

Our Allies  stand by us,  they support us, they fight with us, and they fight for us.

Allies are important for all of us, and especially for any marginalized community.

Since, it is LGBT Pride Month and I am a proud gay man, I celebrate a pride I did not always have. I also celebrate the people who stand with my community. Who support my community and who fight with my community.

My guest today, Andrew Bossone, has been my ally for 20 years now. He stood with me before I came out of the closet, and he stands with me to this day. In this episode, we explore the friendship between a proud gay man and a supportive straight man. The bridge that was built with our friendship. The understanding that each of us has have found within ourselves, and within each other.
