The conscience is a default program put in man by God to keep man from doing wrong, and wickedness increases the more the voice of the conscience is silenced.Jesus Christ did not just die a physical death but also died an eternal death. On the cross He dealt with the effect of sin, in hell (eternal death) he dealt with the nature and cause of sin. And, before The Father God, He made atonement for mankind with His blood.
