Marty was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1948, lost his eyesight while serving with the U.S. Air Force in 1974, then went on to write several books, co-founded the Namaste Yoga Center, and co-produced an instructional video series “Beginning Yoga for the Blind and Visually Impaired”.
