The journey from fresh-faced, innocent newcomer to crumpled-up has-been is a fixture of song and story from time immemorial. The library's copy of the Edda was checked out, though, so instead we focused on two ends of the music industry: 2001's Josie and The Pussycats, and 1984's This is Spinal Tap. One was way better than anyone remembered. The other was exactly as good as everyone remembers.
