The Warner Brothers release earned six Academy Awards nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor, and Tilda Swinton won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Produced In the Valley of Elah directed by Academy Award winner Paul Haggis starring Tommy Lee Jones. Mr. Jones was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor in the Warner Independent release.
