Discover How You Can Harness Confidence and Determination in Not Giving Up on Your Dreams

Episode 29 The Living Full Out show wants to encourage you to Not Give Up when it comes to your dreams, goals, and desires. Maybe your job requires you to overcome a fear that you are anxious to conquer. Recognize that despite your anxieties and limitations, the affirmation, “Never Give Up,” can ground you and move you forward towards your fullest potential. Putting one foot in front of the other will help you discover the power within yourself. Our first caller, Rose, is a single parent of three, who is anxious about what to do next once all of her children are in college and out of the house. Tune in to hear Nancy teach Rose to be proud of herself as a mother, but to also embrace the next chapter in her life. Nancy suggests that Rose align what she has loved in the past with the present moment, so that she may pursue an activity that best suits her nature and interests. Our second caller, Linda, has a fear of public speaking. Linda gets nervous when anticipating others criticism and expectations. Nancy reminds Linda that stories and presentations are gifts, and that audience members, friends, or peers can take away so much from hearing her share her experience. Our inspirational guest is Olivia Hutcherson, who had an incredible passion and talent for dancing, yet was struck with uncertainty when diagnosed with aggressive Breast Cancer in her mid-twenties. Olivia used her intuition that something was wrong, to get herself to medical care and take action immediately. During recovery, by pursuing milestones and celebrating small successes along the way, Olivia was able to feel power, joy, and strength. Our last caller, Douglas calls in because he feels he is disconnected with his friends. Hear how Nancy guides Douglas and tells him that old friendships have value in the many different phases of his life. Nancy says that even though his friends don’t understand his life choices, they have helped shape who he is. Perhaps you had difficulty choosing to be positive during a hard period in your life. Maybe you saw more reasons to feel bad, then to persevere. Not Giving Up is a practice that provides us with more than just resilience. It can prove ourselves our own power and promise, and remind us there is always a way to Live Full Out.
