Episode 10: Project MKUltra & Subproject 68: The CIA LSD Mind Control Experiments

In our latest episode, we discuss how Nazi scientists, introduced to the US through Operation Paperclip, and their research prompted the CIA mind control experiments seen in Project MKUltra and its various sub-projects. The MkUltra program saw covert experiments funded through shell companies at universities and research centers across North America. Other studies were conducted in American prisons and in secret detention camps in Japan, Germany, and the Philippines. These experiments included electroshock therapy, sensory deprivation, physical, verbal and sexual abuse, as well as high doses of psychedelic drugs.

In today’s episode, we’ll discuss how US and Canadian Governments have attempted to hide highly illegal, dangerous and downright sadistic secret CIA experiments. We’ll also discuss Operation Midnight Climax, which saw prostitutes seduce John’s into participating in experiments in Brooklyn, NY. Finally, we touch on SubProject68, which was a covert CIA experiment headed by Dr Donald Ewen Cameron. The facilities for SubProject68 were located at Montreal’s Allen Memorial Institute. was funded by the Society for the Investigation of Human Ecology.
