The prevailing opinion is that the first thing you need to get into the world of digital dentistry is the intraoral scanner. If we don't already have an intraoral scanner we've probably thought about buying one at one point or another. We hear about all the time when we talk with our colleagues, we see it on CE webinars and I'm sure we've all watched a dozen or so youtube videos on how best to use an intraoral scanner. So it seems that eventually, just about every GP will have one of these magic wands and start enjoying the benefits and return on investment. The question is which scanner is best for your practice? To help us answer that question and get some insight into entering into the world of digital workflow is our guest Dr. Miles Cone. In addition to achieving board certification in Prosthodontics, Dr. Cone is also a Certified Dental Technician. He currently has a boutique practice in Portland Maine where he works closely with his wife Cornelia who is the office manager as well as his close advisor regarding many aspects of the practice.
