Being an artist isn’t the easiest way to live your life but sometimes this path takes very dangerous turns. Caravaggio, Chris Burden, Ai Weiwei, Marina Abramović, Bas Jan Ader or Pippa Bacca and many other artists have a lot in common - their passion for artmaking threatened their existence.
