THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT 48: Matthew 5:14-16: LIGHT Part 2


CAUTIONARY NOTE: In discussing these verses, we very directly address any ministry or church that holds the view that the truth is not intended to be shared publicly and those who refer to themselves as lighthouses when they refuse to allow the light of truth to shine out over the dark sea of mankind. Some of the statements made could be potentially offensive to those who hold to the view that the Gospel truths God has given us are too precious to share with those outside the walls of our churches, or who misapply the statements about giving that which is holy to dogs or casting our seed to the swine as excuses to hide the truth from the world. We believe such claims are debunked in these classes (and those still ongoing on preaching the Gospel), but we want to forewarn those who could be offended by their rebuttal or who are adamantly unwilling to consider that these sessions do have the potential to instigate controversy -  though it should be noted that if what is taught is precisely what the Bible teaches - and there is no other reasonable and biblical interpretation, then it should never create controversy with those who love the truth and believe the Bible is its truest and purest source.
