An adult speaks about Doki-Doki shock and using this as a good normalising intervention

After what would have been a very short episode due to being away training I was contacted by Jan at the weekend as I travelled about Doki-Doki. We had a conversation about this over messenger and decided to use this for todays episode to talk about sex and death, Mind wealth and how children and young people need us to be responsible in our conversations with them and to talk about 'stuff' before social media does.

Jan is an online counsellor and supervisor and we talk about how children and young people can be very open and direct in their need to talk about subjects. We cover 13 Reasons Why, Peppa Pig (again) and YouTube- visual shock and why you cannot show disturbing content to children in the hope it will shock them into changed behaviour.

Jan and I have a varied discussion around my research and we cover lots of topics from the mind, compassionate enquiry and how to wok online including the training academy she lectures for.
