Most people from Deiniolen (or any other Welsh village for that matter) don't speak English in a Cockney accent. Then again, Malcolm Allen is not like most people. And there aren't many who know him better than Iwan Roberts.
The pair look back at their early days learning their craft at Watford - including the parties at Elton John's house - to playing alongside each other, just twice, for Wales. If only Ian Rush, Mark Hughes and Dean Saunders weren't around at the same time!
Over 40 years since first meeting, they are closer than ever - although that friendship was certainly put to the test over a salty steak in China (shipped in especially from LA by Elton!)
Carl Roberts sits in for Elis James.
