The counterargument to the beliefs of Gnosticism is that God isn’t some absent Creator who is enslaving you, but instead is a Father who loves you and wants to be in a relationship with you. Pastor JD doesn’t want you to think that God is your enemy. He wants you to rejoice that God has given you eternal life.
