The Prosperous Soul: The Poor Soul

3 John 2

"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."

The Apostle John realized that the prosperity of our whole lives, including the health of our bodies, hinges on the condition of our souls. If prosperity and health were not God's will for, why would God say so much about it in the scriptures? Also, if we don't know God's Word... will perish in our ignorance.
