He’s an award winning and bestselling author of Where Dogs Go To Live! and runs Monkey’s House with his wife Michele Allen, a 2017 CNN Hero recipient. They have been recognized for their outstanding work receiving the 2021 USA Today’s AnimalKind award, and their sanctuary was named Rescue of the Year in 2017 by World Dog Expo.
