Wimbledon Day 10 - Sinner serves up Djokovic rematch, Swiatek breaks new ground

Day 10 at Wimbledon 2025 delivered thrilling quarterfinal action across the men’s and women’s singles draws. In the men’s quarterfinals, Novak Djokovic overcame a brief scare after slipping on match point to defeat Flavio Cobolli in four sets, 6-7, 6-2, 7-5, 6-4, earning his 14th Wimbledon semifinal appearance. Jannik Sinner, in commanding form despite earlier elbow issues, dispatched Ben Shelton 7-6, 6-4, 6-4 to set up a blockbuster semifinal against Djokovic. There was also a surprise retirement announce from another Italian - Fabio Fognini - on site after his whirlwind performance earlier in the tournament against Carlos Alcaraz.

On the women’s side, Iga Swiatek reached her first Wimbledon semifinal with a solid win over Liudmila Samsonova, 6-2, 7-5. Joining her is Belinda Bencic, who edged out rising star Mirra Andreeva in two tight tiebreaks, 7-6, 7-6, continuing her impressive return to form as a new mother - but should this really be the narrative? Joel and Kim also preview and make some prediction for the women’s semi finals with Swiatek facing Bencic and Sabalenka taking on Anisimova on Centre Court.
