Joel Embiid was asked in an interview recently about his future goals and he left the door open about possibly not staying with the Philadelphia 76ers long-term. It was an interesting admission that brought out more NBA discourse around another superstar possibly wanting out of a current situation.

Along with that, the Brooklyn Nets are one of the most well-positioned teams to trade for a superstar in the future. This doesn’t necessarily mean Joel Embiid specifically, but it does warrant a discussion about possibly landing spots and how the Nets are positioned going into the future for superstars.
