Karen specializes in women's issues, grief/loss, and working with partners and family members of addicts. She worked for 8 years as a Military Family Life Counselor and continues to work with service members and their families too.

She has been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Mississippi since 2004 and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) since 2001.
