The creator of Death Metal. Innovator, legend and inspiration. My guest on Episode 203 of The Brooklyn Blast Furnace Podcast is Jeff Becerra. He picked up a bass at eleven years old and history was literally made. From his first band "Blizzard" to him joining "Possessed". He indirectly created a genre of music. Some people have argued this, but it's a fact. We go into the early days of "Possessed", being on the road in Europe at sixteen years old with already a Gold record under his belt. To the break-up, then into his tragedy of him being a victim of a robbery and being shot twice, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down.
