In light of the title, can Christ call off the wedding? Can Christ get married to a harlot? Christ will only marry a bride who has made herself ready (Matthew 25; Revelation 19). Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife has made herself ready. We are engaged to Christ but not yet married to Him.
