John Eisenberg, author of "The Streak: Lou Gehrig, Cal Ripken Jr., and Baseball's Most Historic Record." The subtitle refers to the record for most consecutive games played; Gehrig played in 2,130 consecutive games, and his record remained unbroken for 56 years.
