Session 54 - Tailor Your Positivity

 Internet Trolling and Staying Positive Tristan and Matt are back after their Las Vegas sojourn to discuss one of the more negative aspects of nerd culture: Internet vitriol and trolling. In the wake of Internet responses to reviews of Ghostbusters, Suicide Squad, and Batman v. Superman, they analyze why many people online respond to many nerd-related events in such a negative, dehumanizing manner. In doing so, they discuss ways in which people can combat the negativity through the tailoring of their own social media experiences.  How do you deal with the harsh, negative reactions to nerd-related events on the Internet?
