This week we're joined by the legendary cinematographer and director John R. Leonetti! With James Wan, he created the look of modern horror as the cinematographer behind Dead Silence, Insidious and The Conjuring. As a director, he worked on Annabelle as well as Wish Upon and the recently released Lullaby! John is a wealth of knowledge and shared so many stories about creating the look and feel of The Conjuring, Insidious and Dead Silence. He also worked on Poltergeist and shared a couple stories about that! Then we dig into The Exorcist. It's a movie we've covered but he brought a new perspective on it as a former Catholic school student.
This was an incredibly informative conversation and a lot of fun, even though it was a movie we've already covered.
John isn't on social media but make sure to check out Lullaby on VOD now.
