Fr Dana Christensen joins to Dr. Taylor Marshall to explain his recent fatal diagnosis with ALS (“Lou Gehrig’s disease”) and how this disease will incapacitate him as a priest and take his life in 3-5 years. He draws on Catholic teaching and the tradition of Lent to show that we are all called “ashes to ashes and dust to dust.” From original sin, we are all destined to die. Will we we offer our suffering and death to Christ? How do we find meaning in suffering. Father Christensen shares his own thoughts as he faces the certainty of death.
