The Nets had a chance to creep closer to locking in a playoff berth with the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference but lost to the Timberwolves in a game that went down to the wire. It looked like Spencer Dinwiddie was fouled on the Nets' second-to-last shot of the game, which could have sent him to the line to shoot three free throws. But Brooklyn didn’t get the call. This somewhat overshadowed that the Nets had a double-digit lead in the third but couldn’t pull away.
