NOTTINGHAM FOREST REF ANGER ESCALATES AFTER HUGE LIVERPOOL ERROR BUT SHOULD IT HAVE MATTERED?

Nottingham Forest were on the wrong end of more incompetent refereeing as they lost 1-0 in the 99th minute to Liverpool in the Premier League. Forest fans, players, staff and owner Evangelos Marinakis were furious on the final whistle after Paul Tierney returned the ball to Liverpool following a stoppage for a head injury with the home team in possession. It was a basic error with Liverpool scoring almost two minutes later, but was it all Tierney's fault or should Forest have cleared their lines when they had the chance?
