POSTCAST: Mets BOUNCE BACK Behind Canning’s Quality Start

It was certainly a bounce back night for the New York Mets, who took the opener of their series against the St. Louis Cardinals 4-1.

Griffin Canning took the mound for the Mets and delivered a quality start, six innings of 1 run ball that included EIGHT strikeouts. While the offense didn't have a huge night, they did enough. Mark Vientos got the party started with his 1st home run of the season and it was capped off by Francisco Lindor who hit an RBI single and then a heads-up base-running play allowed another run to score.
