When you are bored in your relationship, you don’t put the effort in to make your spouse happy. In order to keep things from getting boring, you need to treat your wife/husband as your girlfriend/boyfriend on date nights. Bring out that different side of yourself and act like it’s new and exciting. It takes trust: trust in yourself, trust in God or a higher power, and trust in the timing. A bamboo tree doesn’t appear to grow for 5 years, but then it shoots up ina very short period of time. Your relationship may be like a bamboo tree: Put the work in, and you won’t see the results right away, but then you’ll see your love bloom seemingly all at once.
