What does it mean to be unshakeable?  To never give up?

We have all heard stories or know someone who has gone through some pretty terrible things, sometime far worse than us, Which tells us that our body, both physically & mentally, can be taken to great depths.  We are stronger, than we think.  But the reality and sad truth is we, at some point in our lives, we give up because our belief system in ourselves has diminishes over time.  We give up because things become difficult, we give up because we get hopeless, we give up because we fear failure, we give up because success is uncertain, we give up because the pain becomes unbearable, we give up because ….well pick a reason, there are plenty of “excuses” we use.

This does not mean that you should never quit anything, sometimes you do not know that something is a fit until you try first.  What I am saying is giving up when things get TOUGH!  To many people use that as an excuse to not follow through and get through those tough times. 

So how do we develop that never give up attitude?  You have to first realize that when you want to accomplish something the process is going to be a journey of ups and downs, good days and bad days.  But sometimes, however positive you are, you get discouraged and want to throw in the towel.

One of the best words to describe a “never giving up” attitude is the word “responsibility.”  Meaning you and only you are “responsible” for creating the reality that you want.  If you truly want it, then you must get up and go for it.

Here are some examples to adopt a never give up attitude:

-        Overcome Fear

You need to deal with whatever fear you may have in regards to what you want in life.  Fears is a basic human emotion to signal us in times of danger.  BUT fear sees only the downside of an opportunity.  Fear will have you continually think of that downside and only that downside.  It will tell you to avoid it, fill in the blank, at all costs. It will keep you from making any decision.  So look into the root cause of the fear, get help if you need too.

-         Doing what others won’t

Having a never give up attitude means you work hard or even harder on all levels of your life. (physical health, well-being, work, and your hobbies.)  Taking risks that others will not gives you an step up if not just the opportunity to learn.  Have a lion mentality and pounce at opportunity.

-         Believe anything is possible

You need to get up and get out of your comfort zone and believe that all things a possible if you are willing to try.  When you refuse to give up, you are more likely to have that energy to jump those hurdles that you’ve been meaning to overcome.

-         Achieving success in any area of our lives is not easy, it never was, and it never will be.  If it was anyone would do it and EVERYONE would be successful. Reality is very few people achieve success because very few people will pay the price.

Sometimes it is because we again “fear” of the uncertainty.  You don’t know what will happen tomorrow.  When you are addicted to the comfort zone, it is very hard to get past the safety zone.  Our lives become very limited and we end up settling.  We grow when we travel the path of uncertainty.

As long as you have not achieved what you want, you need to keep moving forward and keep learning.  Believe in yourself, and look at all you have already achieved, conquered and overcome. 

Remember, Beautiful things can come from your darkest moments.
