Can you break a piece of tape wrapped around your wrists?
Just on android alone we have 500 subscribers in the USA
15 in Canada eh?
5 in the UK
4 in Australia
1 in Russia
Always be on guard… funny but true.
I walked into a super america yesterday to get a protein drink.
It’s the little things…
One piece of tape, easy… 5 maybe more difficult, 20 probably not….
Water is incredibly powerful. It can carve out a canyon, crush a huge mountain, build a wall etc… it just takes time. It’s the little things that make the biggest difference!
And its especially true in relationships!
It’s the little things that make relationships bloom! Flowers and a note for your wife, little notes to your kids. Going the extra mile by buying a few people coffee at work, picking up flowers for your wife, getting your daughter tickets to the concert, Skipping school with your kids and going skiing,
Turning off the TV and coloring with your young ones
Going out and shoveling the neighbors driveway
picking up a gift card for your wife at her favorite store
Getting your son a pack of protein bars
Texting your wife and kids about how much you love them or a great memory.
Galatians 6:7-9 King James Version (KJV)
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
You reap what you sow… Now imagine what this means?
THIS ISN’T SPEAKING OF ONE BIG ACT… though that’s fair.
THIS ISN’T SPEAKING OF ONE SEED!
You sow thousands of seeds in a field. you better have sowed mostly seeds of goodness, and righteousness and not seeds of selfishness!
John Wooden the greatest basketball coach ever in some peoples opinion said “it’s the little things that are vital”. He took Kareem Abdul Jabarr and spent countless hours just on his foot work. Where to place his feet, how to turn his feet, how to step out and in on a play etc… hours!!!!
BUT BEYOND THAT… The first thing he would do with his players every year was tell them to take off their shoes and socks. He would then tell them how to put on their shoes and socks!!! He said the right way insured less blisters, better fitting tennis shoes, longer play etc…
But it was the little things that made him great!
Some of you are looking for the grand slam of change in your relationships, marriage, kids, work, church, spiritual life etc… it is not a grand slam… it is a small daily detail!
Today look for the small things to change, to do, to invest your time and energy into.
Todays challenge: imagine 5 seeds in your pocket today. You get to invest them into peoples lives. How do you want to do it? who do you want to do it to? and what do you want to get out of it… remember seeds are not only to be planted, but also to be reaped!
