Looking at 2 Samuel 15 and 2 Samuel 12, we learn about the painful unraveling of King David’s relationship with his son, Absalom. Pastor Steve gives encouragement and hope to all parents who are facing a difficult relationship with a child by reminding us that:

I cannot REWRITE the past but I can REPAIR the present
I cannot confuse LOVING with ENABLING
I cannot always SAVE THE DAY when somebody NEEDS TO PAY

So if you are feeling like your family is a hot mess, we hope this message encourages you to know that you are not alone and that God has a plan, hope and purpose for you and your family’s future! There is always hope if we put Christ at the center and believe that Jesus can change a problem child into a Godly child.
