If you were able to read this chapter, we trust you were encouraged by its contents. On the show we discuss things like the essentialness of brotherly love, the history of Israel’s love for God, the failure of the church at Ephesus in losing their first love, the importance of our love for God and the love of God, as well as the differences between John’s poetic style of writing and Paul’s logical style. If there is one thing that is probably the most important practical takeaway, the challenge to read the gospels cannot be overstressed. Seeing and studying the love of Christ is one of the best ways to replicate it.
