Mid-Session 11 Apr 18: Market down 0.3% as telcos & banks decline

The local sharemarket is under pressure on Wednesday, held back by falls in the Telco, Financial and Consumer Staples sectors. The ASX 200 is down 0.3% or 20 points to 5,837.
