When we get into recovery whether it be in the world of mental health, substance abuse and often both, we want things to start happening fast!
On this episode we will discuss the importance of slowing down and giving ourselves some grace. We have come so far in a little amount of time! let's face it, accepting that we have an issue or problem can be one of the hardest things we ever do.
We need to take it easy, be patient, and find people that can help guide us through our process, or program of recovery.
All of us started somewhere, we weren't made perfect, we were made human, capable of making mistakes but also capable of rectifying those mistakes and become better for them.
We will discuss what it means to trust the process, how that might look in a program, and how to engage in the process in a healthy manner which gives us the best chance of success!!!
