46-Weathering Life’s Storms (Acts 27:1-44)

I find it interesting the number of times we find ships caught in storms in the Bible:

1. Noah on his way to a new beginning for mankind - Gen 6-9
2. Jonah on his way to Tarshish - Jonah 1:4-5
3. The disciples on their way to the other side of the Sea of Galilee - Mark 6:45-52

Why? Because violent storms in our lives often advance the purposes of God:

1. 1. They humble us remind us of our need to rely on God
2. They free us from earthly entanglements and misguided priorities                                  3. They provide a backdrop for God’s glory, power and deliverance
