Confident: Saturday May 2 - Morning

Today we turn to pray for others, for ourselves, and our world. Prayer is a statement of trust in
God. It says: I look to you, Lord. I depend on you for all things.
Let us go to God in prayer:
Our gracious God, thank you for inviting us into your presence. Thank you for moments of stillness
when I can remember that you are God. I pray this morning for those that I love, for dear family
members and friends. I pray for those living with fear, with illness, and with uncertainty. I pray for
the members of our church family and for my neighbors. Be our Rock, O Lord, that we might find
our peace and joy in you. For I pray in your holy name. Amen.
