Mi gente bella! I shared this on YouTube and felt called to add it to my podcast. I've heard the " When you're in the love & light" nothing can touch you for the last few decades from mostly New Age teachers.

It's ok when we affirm our blessed place in the Universe or our Abuelita is affirming that we are loved and held pero if your spiritual teacher says," Forget egg limpias, cleansing, clearing and grounding- I don't need all that! I'm in the love and light! When you do Spiritual protection you are inviting the negativity in"~ are los ojos and pay attention.

I invite you to take a look at your teacher, their privilege and tap into your own intuition, Ancestral wisdom and guidance. As Latinx, BIPOC, LGBTQIA and immigrants we have our own inherent needs for rituals, energy nurturing and protecting practices. Follow what feels best for YOU and remember that our Ancestors lived by certain spiritual practices that helped them survive, gain resilience, strength and thrive. These practices are our sacred gifts and help us grow our mind, body and spirit health.
