Today’s episode is one you won’t forget. I’m sitting down with the incredible Julie Barth—a mother of six, trauma survivor, and the founder of the Colin James Barth Outreach. Julie has walked through more than most: parenting a child with Primordial Dwarfism, losing her young husband Colin to stage-four pancreatic cancer, caring for a child with a rare form of cancer, and surviving ten years in an emotionally and financially abusive marriage. But what stands out most about Julie isn’t just what she’s been through—it’s what she’s built from it.
Through her nonprofit, CJB Outreach, Julie is helping women-led households find stability during some of the hardest moments of their lives. This conversation dives into caregiving, loss, resilience, and what it really means to reclaim your life after trauma. Julie’s story is deeply personal, but the lessons she shares are universal—and I’m so honored to share this space with her today.
