Practice What You Preach

Well, today's chat we are 'patting ourselves on the back'...not only do we not just stand on a soap box and preach...we actually do the S&*T we say to do.

This became very evident for Mad Max the last couple of day's as he decided to do a 3 day rest/spa break from reality.

For me this involves me not doing a damn thing...physically and as for mental very little (which may not be heard). I noticed that I had been going very hard and putting in extra time when it came to hand to hand combat (and my body was taking a pounding) as well I had kept up my normal work out schedule.

Although it is summer, I am feeling amazing, eating amazing, and getting enough sleep, mix that with my meditation routine and wake up and sleep routine boom I am on fire...
but I have noticed a little fatigue and extra soreness. My ego wanted to say maybe just maybe you can keep going hard for another week or two (gain train!) but I thought you know what... we preach balance, we talk rest and recovery....so let's fully implement before hand. Meaning before you actually feel tired and may get sick or an injury!

I know for a fact I will be so well rested and recovered that when I go back to train I will be at another level.

John had a great deal of questions to ad in as someone who observes the show would as well...like are you talking BS or are you living how you say you live!
