A new leader of the British Tory party won’t make any difference when it comes to the Brexit deal agreed between the UK government and the EU.
That’s according to the Fine Gael MEP Brian Hayes who was referring to this evening’s vote of confidence in the British prime Theresa May.
Mr Hayes says he believes Mrs May will survive the vote.
However, the Dublin MEP argues that even if she loses, and a Eurosceptic Tory wins a leadership contest, there’ll be no changes to the Withdrawal agreement.
