Irish supply “more precarious by the day” – Kelly

Ireland’s energy supply is getting “more precarious by the day” – that’s the warning from Sean Kelly. The EU has been setting out plans to try and bring energy prices under control. But gas supplies remain tight. Fine Gael MEP, Sean Kelly, believes Ireland can produce more gas of its own to be less dependent on the pipeline from the UK. And he believes not putting the clocks back this winter could reduce peak time demand too. Sean Kelly says there is a growing urgency to act.
