The Truth About Affairs

This week we are talking about affairs. Why do they happen?  Where do they happen? Are there reasons? What does the word "affair" mean to you? Is it more loaded than the word "fling"? There are so many questions to get to The Truth About Affairs. Mel and Suzie's opinions differ. Suzie thinks people make mistakes. Mel doesn't disagree, but an affair where you have an emotional connection with someone other than your partner is such a huge betrayal that is hard to come back from.

We also talk about the fact that we often assume the person having the affair is a man? That is unfair, many women have affairs. We talk about the famous affairs, Charles and Diana, Brad and Angelina. What do we think about them? A relationship that starts with an affair is not always doomed. We talk about stories we know, we read some stories, there are some facts, we talk some more Charles and Diana. Suzie is obsessed!
