Til this day, hearing that cheer brings me back to some very competitive moments. Energy, effort, high intense moments. Hustle, grit, doing everything for the victory. Hating to lose more than wanting to win. But, at the end of the day, we treated the game with respect. We treated our opponents with respect. Players came to play. Coaches came to coach. Fans came to cheer. And with pride, we enjoyed every moment of it. In far too many cases today, it's just the opposite. Fans want to be a part of the game, players are angry and don't know how to manage their emotions, and a lot of the coaches should be doing something else with their time. Respectfully. Respect for the game? Well, I won't say there is none but, we are headed in that direction. And, the conduct we are witnessing is more unsportsmanlike than ever. Lock In!
