This week, we turn to the Gospel of Matthew 1:1 to hear the proclamation of . . . "Jesus, the Son of David". In this lesson, we see:

• Jesus is the Son of David.
• The designation “Son of David” points to Jesus as the ultimate King of kings.
• As the ultimate King, Jesus will restore and renew all creation.
• Therefore, we ought to believe in and celebrate Jesus as the Son of David.
• So, let’s find great joy in the King of kings, Jesus, the Son of David.
