Join me, and my special guest, and friend Deanne Barrett, who teaches moms how to talk with their pre-teens so the teenage years aren’t so scary. Before Deanne became a mom, she worked with thousands of teenagers as a high school English teacher and she could see that the teens who stayed out of trouble, had nice friends, and did well in school were the ones who had a close, connected relationship with their parents. Now Deanne teaches moms how to stop nagging and controlling and start communicating to connect with their pre-teens and teens. Deanne is an international parenting coach, host of the podcast Radiant Mom, and mom of two pre-teens in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
