On this Tuesday in the second week of Lent, everyone feels more Monday mood it seems, including Father Anthony who feels like it's a Monday, and not sure where to start at first. On this "catch up day" as Father Anthony says, and having another busy morning today, with everyone else carrying the show today, the main topic relates to Lent, taking a turn for the best and the opinions and laughs are flying and going around on the show, with everyone answering the question, "What is Prayer to you?" prayer being one of the pillars of Lent. Gerri responds with listening and need to listen with moments of silence, Producer Nick chimes in saying that in some terms is "help and guidance," which is a good sense and idea in terms of prayer being actually that. Next, Tony with talking about trust, as well as what everyone might feel at a point in their lives, with God being there, but busy with so much. After the first break, Christina takes a turn to answer what is prayer to her, relating to everyone's comments on this, but also with the idea/notion of friendship. With all these positive and good answers, Father Anthony provides helpful hints to find out how God is listening and answering us with our suffering and asking as well as if we are. Father Anthony also relates this discussion to the history of St. Patrick from yesterday, as well as using Tony's marriage as another example. Towards the end of the show, Father Anthony gives us all the feeling of God's gratitude or giving/helping/guiding/answering to us with prayer, as well as discussing the Jesus Prayer. Also along these lines, everyone asks the question with prayer to God in mind, is "why am I going through this or why is all this happening to me?" with all the frustration/stress/difficulties.
