In this video I discuss what we know and don’t know about physical characteristics of Jewish males at the time of Jesus? What did Jesus look like? Long hair, short hair, long beard? How tall was he? I also discuss why this issue matters.

I review how Jesus has been depicted at various points throughout history, and how these depictions are shaped by theology and vice versa.
