Every Christian is called to be the visual representation of the Church.  The world will not judge the Church by the catechism because so many will not see or hear it, nor by the Word of God because so many may not hear it, but they will judge the Church by what they see in us who are called to live the Gospel every day.  Our example is critical.  We are the Gospel Incarnate!  The way that we live, the way that we are pleasant company, the way that we love, forgive, sacrifice, pray, live joy etc will determine how people will view the Church that we belong to.
