Understanding the Word with Jesus

In this "how-to" episode, we will look at the practical ways in which you can include Jesus while reading, meditating, and comprehending the Bible so He can make it relevant to your everyday life.    Jesus can make your time in the Word fun, engaging, and transformational when you learn the important difference between reading the Word WITH Him and not for Him or any other reason.   Dr. Patty shares the Biblical foundation of the command to have the Holy Spirit interpret Scriptures so you are not trying to understand it with your limited mind.  She addresses what Truth really is and Jesus clarifies the difference between knowing about Him and knowing Him intimately.   Dr. Patty goes back to the basics with the basic dialogue journaling steps from Habakkuk 2:1-2.  She shares examples of how Jesus speaks in your language and cultural framework but is always consistent with Biblical Truth.  To make reading the Word fun, Jesus invites you to jump into the Bible parable story of the four soils and He shows you which soil condition reflects your heart and what He has for you when you have good soil in your heart during your Experience Jesus encounter time.
